American Idol - Germany

If you’ve been reading Bits from Bill for a while you may recall I recently traveled to Germany. The trip was successful but it’s always a challenge because my German language skills are poor.

The television in my room didn’t have any English channels so I found myself missing my TiVo and shows in America. Even Amazon Unboxed wouldn’t let me download movies after it detected my IP address was coming from Germany.

There was one show I could follow which was the German version of American Idol, called SuperStar.  Yes, I admit, I do watch American Idol and was disappointed when Melinda was voted off last night. I have written before about American Idol and its effect on sales of WinPatrol PLUS.  My web stats prove that internet traffic is down when American Idol and other top rated shows are on.

So, while I was in Germany I did get hooked on SuperStar and their contestants.  Thanks to my grand daughter Marisa I was able to follow the remainder of the season. They’ve already voted for their winner and Marisa sent me the link below.
