Introducing WinPatrol PLUS Family Pack

scotty family

One of the most talked about packages this year was Microsoft’s Windows 7 Family Pack. Let’s face it, the days of a single computer household are long gone. Unfortunately, you won’t find Win7 Family Pack available at its original $149 price.  I’m a big fan of families so it only seemed right to offer a special WinPatrol PLUS Family Pack.

For $49.95 folks can upgrade to WinPatrol PLUS and use the same PLUS code on their computer, their laptop, their spouses, and all the kids.  The PLUS Family Pack license is valid for immediate family so your kids can be protected even if they’re away at school. The WinPatrol PLUS license isn’t a subscription, it’s good for life.

This is a limited offer but I hope it will make the holidays brighter especially for those of you with large families.

Please clarify - originally Plus license = for my household computer(s)/laptops, regardless of which family member accesses them or is the primary user of a specific machine? & Family license specifically licenses by user, thus changing the terms of the original Winpatrol Plus? OR: If each adult family member lives at our address, Plus would be the right license, but if some of us live away (at school, military, etc) then Family license" instead of another license for each person living away would apply?

I'm a bit confused. First you mention a $149 price tag, and then you say $49. Is the $149 a typo?

The $149 was the price for the Windows 7 Home Family Pack which was once available. You won't find it anymore from Microsoft at that price.

Hopefully I can clarify any confusion. The current WinPatrol PLUS license allows for use on multiple computers. PLUS may be used on "any computer you personally own and use". I obviously need to expand on this explanation.

If your spouse has their own computer they should have a separate PLUS license or the new Family Pack. If your only "use" of your spouse or children's computer is to perform backups or other maintenance I don't consider this your computer even if it was purchased with your credit card.

Obviously if you use the same code on all the computers I'm not going to send the license police to your door but I do encourage individual licenses.

I will update the website to clear up any confusion. Thank you for taking the time to ask.
